Loving is not for the weak.
It’s a risk. A big one.
It’s like loading a gun and handing it to someone, hoping they don’t blow your brains off while you look away or fall asleep.
It’s why you should open your eyes before you dive into the ocean of love.
Because if you chose to love someone you don’t know to a large extent… if you chose to love them based on what you stand to get… or for who you expect them to be
You gon learn the HARD way by the time they take the gun you handed them and shot your heart into a million pieces.
You scared to love now?
Cmon, that’s just one side of the coin.
Again, love is not for the weak.
It’s not like anything you’ve seen in movies or read in those books.
It’s real. Raw. And can be Fierce.
It can be like a bug on your brain. Do you know how intoxicated loving can make you feel?
It’s risky.
But like all risks, it could pay off too.
Cos they may turn out to be the one that’d love you to your bones.
They might be the ones who’d make you experience deep feelings you’ve never felt, and it’ll be more than you’ve ever wished for.
Do you have a checklist to vet who’s worth your unconditional loving? Knowing that you’re giving them the power to break your heart – while trusting them not to?
That person could make you love LOVE, or get scar your heart and make you feel afraid of trying again.
You don’t know what’s in it until you’re in.
But, be sane enough to leave when your love is not reciprocated or is being taken for granted.
They might not be for you.
And that’s okay, too.
Leave before they turn you into someone you’re not.
